My experience with the Tahiti
I bought my Tahiti kayak in 2002 one of the reason that I bought it is because I like to cruising around the world in different cruise ship lines in my vacations with my wife. I found that tours were very expensive so we decided to buy an inflatable kayak that we can use in the port of calls specially in the caribbean islands we took ours even in cruise to Croatian and Greece the Tahiti perform in an excellent manner I found that if you take care of it by cleaning and deflating after a run it will last for ever I keep mine indoors.
Today I am in Key Largo and my good friend the Tahiti is waiting for me to explore the mangroves it is GREAT for Price.

Pretty much an older child's toy
I bought this after reading great reviews. I have regular kayaks but thought this might be nice to throw in a lake from the rear of my boat for some fun. I'm not sure why they couldn't have added a small keel of hard plastic along the bottom of the inflatable hull for tracking. Unless it's absolutely calm water and no wind, the kayak is blown around in circles and every stroke of the paddle requires immediate correction. There is absolutely no tracking whatsoever! This has a flat bottom and is absolutely frustrating to navigate. Only a kid could enjoy this.
