Disappointed
I regret to say that I am very disappointed in the quality of this particular product. I researched this product before buying it initially in June of 2009 and had heard nothing but good things, I liked how stable it was on the water and how it handled, but was only able to use it 3 times before the left bladder blew when I was on the river. It was a good thing a friend was there with a canoe to save me from a long swim.I still had confidence in the product, so I went to another store and purchased another one in July 2009 which had never been taken out of it's original packaging and unfortunately it has lasted for only the remainder of last season plus a few weeks in this season. I was in the middle of a lake this past Friday when all of a sudden I heard a hissing noise coming from behind me. I immediately started for shore, but had to pump several times before reaching it. Sad to say, customer service is only good at the run around. They were no help what so ever.

Needs Improvement!!!
This is the second Sevylor Pointer 1 that I have owned. The first one would not inflate properly. THis kayak has several poor design choices, and an even worse customer service department. When I tried to first inflate it, page 4 at the top was a paragraph concerning a rhomboid plastic strip that had to be inserted somewhere. There WERE NO DIAGRAMS!! I went online and saw a silly useless piece on how to inflate a water craft, non specific. THis item needs much more explanation! I spent over 35 minutes on hold learning how Mr. Coleman invented a gas lamp, and the camp stove over and over, before getting a human. He was clueless! had no idea what I was talking about, could not find the item in the directions, then finally put me on hold for over 20 minutes while he asked someone else about it! I finally figured it out when my girlfriend showed up and we fixed it together. This plastic piece functions as a tented support over the feet in the front of the kayak, since it will dive un
